Join author, Beth Reichmuth, and illustrator, Nomy Lamm, to celebrate the launch of their new children's book, I'm Jay, Let's Play.
I'm Jay, Let's Play is a sweet story --about Jay's morning at preschool playing with friends-- that models gender fluidity as a normal and delightful part of the lives of young children.
There will be fun for grown-ups and kids alike, including:
An engaging reading of I'm Jay, Let's Play, followed by a Q&A session with author and illustrator
Raffle tickets with prizes (donations supporting Gender Spectrum)
Snacks and beverages for adults and children
Coloring sheets of illustrations
Outdoor play space with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and hula hoops
Hardcover copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event for the discounted price of $15.00.
Accessibility Info: There are no stairs required to access the main event space. The door to the school opens manually, with no automatic opener button available. Hallways and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. The outdoor play space is accessible by an outdoor lift or about 6 steps with a handrail. Chemical cleaners are sometimes used in the space.
